S.T.A.R.T. Your Creative Life Now!
Do you remember how much you enjoyed painting and drawing when you were a child. But then somewhere along the way, things got too busy or maybe someone said something negative about your art, so you stopped creating. Or maybe you still love to create but just need some additional instruction or structure to take your work to that next level.
All of us are naturally creative and now you have the opportunity to move into the rewarding and creative life you have envisioned. I will be offering a variety of workshops through this winter, spring and summer on drawing, painting, visual journals, Artist Trading Cards and printmaking media. These classes will allow you to relax and focus on your creativity through the exploration of new artistic methods and mediums.
My classes offer a small, supportive environment and although designed for beginners, I can easily adjust my teaching to challenge those students who are more advanced. These classes are also good for high school students working on their portfolio for scholarships, art schools and Advanced Placement Studio Art classes. All your materials are included in one low price so that you can try out something new without having to purchase expensive art supplies. Classes are offered on Saturdays for students and those that have to work during the week. Each Saturday features 2 related classes, the morning class is a beginning level and the afternoon class is an extension of the morning class with a more advanced level of instruction. I am offering classes two different Saturdays and in two different locations each month so you have no excuse for not joining in the fun. My classes are offered at the Center For Visual Art in Greensboro, NC and Hickory Mountain Weavery in Staley, NC. That’s 2 hours of instruction by an experienced and highly qualified instructor for the low price of just $30, ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED! Sigh up for 2 classes on one Saturday and receive a $10 refund at the door that Saturday. Registration is easy. Just click on the paypal button below and register for the 2 hour classes. If you have any questions, just email me for more information.
